Up for your consideration is my 1990 Toyota pickup. This vehicle has been well taken care of, even though it is was my weekend handyman vehicle. This truck is EXTREMELY dependable. Less than 100,000 since only rebuild. It has spent its entire life in California although we are now in Texas. The tires have no more than 1,000 miles on them and fluids and tune ups have always been performed throughout its life. The truck will include the stereo, alarm, the rack, the locking tool box, the extend a bed, but will not include the ladder. This truck has NO AIR CONDITIONING which is the main reason I am selling. You can get away with that in California, not Texas. I can also use more garage space. The not so good:Windshield has a crack which I tried to include in photos. Paint is a bit dull but can be buffed and also has a few scratches which I also tried to include. There is chip in flywheel which causes the truck to wind when starting about once every twenty times attempted. Its been like this for 15 years and when it occurs, I put in 3rd gear, push truck a foot forward and cranks right up. Last but not least, the odometer cable was disconnected because there was a squeak which was driving me nuts. I disconnected, greased and tried to reinstall but gave up after an hour of frustration. Odometer reads 149,000 but I know its been at least 75,000 since then.You will notice cable hanging in interior photos. I invite all interested parties to come inspect vehicle before bidding. I have tried to be as truthful and honest when listing but please remember that this vehicle is almost 29 years old and did not roll off a showroom floor. $150 non refundable to PayPal within 24 hours of winning. 1994 Toyota DX Xtra Cab 2WD 5 Speed 22RE Please read carefully. I believe in full disclosure of anything I know is wrong with the vehicle. I have done my best to list every issue, but if I remember something else I will add it in. Please ask any questions you like. Has air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, FM stereo, cloth interior 60/40 bench seat with fold down arm rest, sliding rear glass, under 100k miles, low mile Goodyear radials, recent front disc pads, no body rust, fuel injection. It tracks straight and true, handles well for what it is. Hasn't been driven in 4 years due to my health. Last time it was driven it ran great, but it needs several things to make it reliable. Because of ethanol, it probably needs new fuel system parts [hoses, maybe pump] as it won't run without priming. Engine needs EGR valve. Thermostat is stuck open. Fan belt is old. The speedometer was lagging a small amount last time I drove it, but I think it just needs to be driven as it caught up after several miles I bought the truck from an OK used car dealer in 1998. Since the day I bought it, every trades person I met has tried to buy it from me. I knew it had been in a minor accident before I bought it, but a thorough inspection found everything in good shape. Repairs were done at a local dealer and were invisible. I had a very low speed collision in 2000 which resulted in minor front end damage. Replaced hood, drivers fender, and some paint work, all performed by the nice folks at Wreck Tech in Madison. They did an excellent job using new parts. Repairs are invisible as can be seen in the photos. In 2007 I was backed into at a local convenience store parking lot. Due to my poor health, I did not have this damage repaired. There is some body damage on drivers side of bed and back corner of cab. The drivers back tire will scrub the wheel well on deep bumps. Passenger side back corner of bed has minor damage from a tree limb. I do have all the factory wheel covers. Less than 90,000 on the odometer. Engine was serviced at standard intervals. Having owned other 22R powered trucks, I knew that the timing chain was a weak point in the engine. Deciding to opt for preventive maintenance, I had the timing set replaced. After some research I chose the DOA Racing, steel backed 22R guides and full timing set. The owner will never have to replace chain guides for the life of this truck. Installed by Eddie Diehl Motors in Huntsville. Their Tech was very impressed with this kit and he said he would be using them on his personal vehicles. The support puck under the shifter was replaced due to the trans jumping out of gear, also done at Diehl. This is a normal wear part on 5 speed Toyota shifters. Shifts are now positive lock and smooth. Front disc pads were replaced and only have a few thousand miles on them. Everything works 100% except:1. The backlight on the AC/Heater control panel is intermittent.2. The starter relay is sticky I.E. sometimes it will not engage on first try. When that happens, it always works after a wait of a minute or two. Has never left me stranded. 3. Drivers side headlight is out...I think. This is the last of its kind, a sweet mini truck with big truck comforts. Long wheelbase handles interstate slabs smoothly. Extended cab will hold cargo, kids or huge subs. Good mileage, I drove myself and a 250 pound computer server system from Huntsville Alabama to St. Louis on a single tank of gas with the air conditioner running. this is a great little truck I have daily drove it for over a year putting around 300 miles a week on it its been in the family since new and cleans up nicely even though it does have rustEverything on the braking system has been changed calipers,rotors, wheel cylinders brake shoes master cylinder and padsThe factory tape player also messed up so I had a new cd player installed also this summer and a window tint job and new exhaust system installed back around January-February Everything works on this truck park brake is good has hot heat and cold air I don't think you can beat it for the money. In the last 6 months I have had new tires put on it a new battery led head lights and new tail lights this is a great little truck to drive back and forth to work or just beat around in as the Toyota name stands for its self I wouldn't even think about selling this but a diesel truck is more of what I'm needing at the moment for my job the buyer wont be disappointed its low miles for the age of it and I will continue to drive this until I sale it.The frame has been plated but most of these trucks have been plated it does have rust but I wouldn't mind to hop in it and go anywhere I have listed everything I can think of but if any questions just shoot me a message I can also help taking it to a transporter if the buyer needs this transported and in this case once its paid for the title will be sent to the buyer usps priority mail I even have the window sticker for this when it was purchased new in
